Dude - you need to play RE4 Wii Edition - it will change the way you look at shooters. The remote is really the definitive way to aim. Also, Excite Truck is funner than most racing games out there. Once again , motion control over the analog stick.
I feel like if you want to have perfect FPS controls you may have to go one step further. This might sound crazy, but here goes: One analog stick for movement, one analog stick for looking/turning, and the Wii remote for aiming and shooting. Halo (like most FPS games) incorporates looking and aiming into the same stick, but it's not as precise as the remote can be and everything on the screen moves when you change your aim. DeltaP42, I could not agree with you more. I think this will make my mom wanna spend time with the Wii. I mean, how many moms (and dads) exercise everyday? Now it can be interactive. I just wish they would have introduced a new game or a new Disaster: Day of Crisis trailer.
I guess they're hogging all the good stuff for everyone's big Christmas budgets. But shoot, If I see a game I want, I'm gonna buy it in December OR July, Just like everyone did with God of War II and Crackdown.

Halo did sell the Xbox. PS2 would have absolutely crushed it otherwise. Why didn't Bungie go with Sony? Maybe cause they needed 4 controller ports instead of 2.

Couldn't have said it better Marceles. Zelda and RE4 both rock. They're both very addictive. I tried RE4 on gamecube and I just didn't get into it. The new aiming system makes things almost too easy. And Paper Mario - MY GOSH! I just wanted to play it but... man. During the cutscenes, I finally found myself hitting the A button repeatedly. Good gameplay, but it was kinda spoiled by the needless chatting.
You should already want a Wii. I've been saying this for the past two weeks: If you own a Wii and do not own Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition, don't walk - RUN to the game store and buy it NOW! Forgive my enthusiasm, but this games controls make Red Steel look like Ashley Simpson.

Exactly! I never heard anyone complaining about "300" or "Freddy vs. Jason". They're just trying to make games look bad for kids, like the parents can't figure that out for themselves. What a load.
Yep. Once PS3 gets some more exclusives, who knows what might happen. It's been over two years since we've seen anything from Killzone 2. It might (at least try to) give Halo 3 a run for it's money. Lair looks pretty good too. It'll be a while before I get a PS3 though.

I know this has been said to death, but it's true. GRAPHICS AREN'T EVERYTHING. True, they're a lot, but not everything. The reason I liked Prey so much was not just for the graphics, but those crazy portals! At the end of the day, innovation will win.
In RE4 Wii Edition, it's SOOOO much easier to aim - it's almost too easy. I had a hard time playing the Gamecube version partly for the aiming, but this one controls so much easier. You don't really have to "work" to play it. I keep my remote hand against the chair and my aiming is dead-on. It's a welcome change.
With all the big developers getting on the Wii bandwagon, who knows how many good hardcore games we might get. Just bide your time - this year you're gonna get Brawl, Corruption, Galaxy, and maybe Disaster: Day of Crisis. Oh by the way, if you haven't picked up RE4 Wii Edition yet, don't walk, RUN to the gaming store and buy it now!
Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition - definitely. This is one of the Wii's best games right now. It is SOOOOO much easier to aim with the Wii remote - a lot of fun. And only $30 - what in blazes are you waiting for?!?
Comparing fantasy football to MMORPG - now that makes me think. I have to totally agree with him on the sports thing. I just don't care about sports as much as others. Like this guy though, I can bluff my way through sports conversations using names like "Jeff Gordon" and "Michael Vick".
